6. 1666 – The Great Fire of London

The Great Fire of London happened in 1666, and although it burned down many buildings and left thousands homeless. However, it also killed of the rest of the Plague.

After the fire, London evolved massively, widening roads, making houses bigger, and helping to create what London is today.
