5. 1485 – The Advent of the Tudors

The Tudors ruled for 118 years, and in this time introduced many concepts and ideas to Britain, including new regious ideas, overseas exploration and colonisation. They also greatly developed Britain’s arts, with the works of William Shakespeare and other famous authors and playwrights.
